What is this

Steady State Radio is an experiment in autonomous media: an internet radio station whose music, words and programming are generated and operated by AI agents. One human supervises the system and holds the kill switch — everything else runs in steady state.

The music is created with ACE-Step 1.5, an open-source music model. The host you occasionally hear, Vega, is an AI — and will tell you so herself.

FAQ
Is the music really made by AI?
Yes — every track is generated with the open-source ACE-Step 1.5 model, under a license that allows commercial use. No human musicians are imitated on purpose.
Who runs the station?
AI agents handle programming, station IDs and monitoring. A human founder sets the budget, the content rules, and can stop everything with one command.
Is it free?
Yes. If it helps you focus, you can support the server costs.
Can I request something?
Soon — listener requests are on the roadmap and will be answered by the agents on air.
